When your iPhone gets into water,do you know how to get water out of your iphone? iPhones are water-resistant and all models of iPhone 7 and above support the waterproof function.

Different models of iPhone have different water resistance. iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone SE, all of these models are water resistant and have reached IP67 level.These models are able to stay underwater for up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes.

Other models such as iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11 have the same IP68 water-resistant level and are capable of staying underwater for up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 2 metres.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max can stay underwater for up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 4 metres.

We usually think of iP68 as being truly waterproof, iP67 as splash-proof, so it seems that Apple phones do have a good level of water resistance. But first we should know that these figures are derived from pure distilled water under controlled laboratory conditions.

In fact, whether it is rainwater, tap water, or other liquids such as beverages all contain impurities.  There are many uncontrollable factors, so the waterproof level of a mobile phone cannot be regarded as the only standard for its waterproof function.

High water temperature can cause the gasket which keeps water out of the phone components to deteriorate, so we should avoid immersion in high-temperature water. The salt contained in seawater can easily rust or even corrode metal parts of the phone circuits, so be careful not to immerse your phone in seawater when playing at the beach.

The battery is the weakest part and before each phone goes into the water, we should double check the sealing cover to make sure it is closed. Take extra care when opening it. If the phone has just been soaked in water, wipe the water off it with a soft cloth to avoid water seepage.

With long term use, high temperature and humid environment can cause the waterproof rubber ring to age, and the waterproof ability of the iPhone mainly depends on this ring. iPhone's splash, water and dust resistance is not permanently effective and its performance will degrade with increased frequency of daily use.
