A recent survey by information security services firm Beyond Identy revealed that 49% of Android users are considering switching to the iPhone camp, primarily due to security and privacy concerns with their phones.

The study looked at the security feelings of 1,003 Americans who use their phones on a daily basis, with 76% of iPhone users feeling the improvement of security and privacy performance of iPhone and believing the iOS will be more secure, slightly higher than the 74% of Android users.

Thanks to the iPhone’s upcoming new iOS 16, one of the top security features is its lockdown mode, and 33% of Android users are considering switching to use an iPhone.

iPhone users are more proactive about digital security, preferring a six-digit password to a four-digit password to unlock their phone. iPhone users also prefer to monitor their location tracking and use facial recognition, and no Android phone yet offers the same technology as Apple.

However, a number of users have also said that their iPhone's signal is so poor that they want to switch to the Android camp.
