1. The peak current can reach 2.3A, enhancing the driving motor's capability.
2. There are two modes: normal use/UART mode. Only two pins need to be soldered, and the UART mode can be supported.
3. It can drive the motor to operate in extremely quiet conditions, enabling the motor's control sound to be below 15dB, with the noise significantly lower than that of the traditional current control method.
4. Large-area heat dissipation allows the heat of the driving chip to be quickly dissipated through the heat sink, which is beneficial for the normal operation of the printer.
5. High resolution, high-speed anti-shake.
Parameters
1. Microstep: 256 subdivisions
2. Configuration: STEP/DIR OR UART
3. Voltage for driving the load motor: 5.5 - 28V
4. Theoretical current: 2A
5. Default factory current: 0.85A
6. Logic working voltage of the IC: 3 - 5V
7. Recommended current: no more than 1.7A
8. Application: This driver is used on various 3D main control boards. It is only applicable in the 3D printing field.
9. Packing list: TMC2209 driver x 1, heat sink x 1, pins, allen wrench x 1
10. Weight: about 10g
Usage Notes
1. Pay special attention to the drive direction. Do not insert it in the reverse position.
2. When measuring voltage, do not connect the motor; otherwise, it is easy to burn out the driver.
3. When measuring voltage, connect the power supply and do not merely connect the USB power supply.
4. When using the printer control board, please keep the 3 jumper caps under the connector.
5. Before adjusting the knob, it must be done with the power off. After the adjustment is completed, turn on the power for measurement to prevent the driver or motherboard from being burned out.
6. When attaching the heat sink, pay attention to the distance between the heat sink and the pins. Otherwise, it will cause a short circuit between the heat sink and the pins.
7. When the driver is working, ensure proper heat dissipation (heat sink + cooling fan) to prevent abnormal operation due to overheating of the driver.
